Shame too. He was in the lead.

The chump in the blue was totally at fault, the guy in yellow is a boss. Yellow would've been 30m in front by the end of the leg, why would he bother interfering with the blue sloth???

Yeah seriously. What did the yellow guy besides an accidental bump? Just dq the yellow kid from the race (which they would have done anyway, I'm sure). I'm not even sure that I'd ban the whole blue team either. I mean, what if they had a guy doing the weight throw while this was going on? Should he get banned from a meet because some other kid on his team is a moron?
Yes. Here's why:

Maybe there was already bad blood between them, or maybe he tried to do it for the team.. It was only the second leg, and going into the meet the blue team (Jefferson, SB 3:32.xx) had a 4x4 season best almost 10 seconds faster than the yellow team (Mt. Vernon, SB 3:42.xx), so it appears there might have been a greater total amount of "sloths" on the yellow team (since you referred to the athlete in blue that way), including on the final two legs.... (wink)
THe first floor the armory is still a NYC homeless shelter.
The armory remained under the jurisdiction of the New York State Division of Military & Naval Affairs. It was used as a homeless shelter late in the 20th century. A plan was developed to modify and expand it for that purpose that would have compromised its historical integrity. Those ended when the armory was chosen as the permanent home of the National Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2002,in recognition of the drill shed's current use as the largest site of indoor college and high school invitationals in the world.
I must have misread that the "plan was developed to modify and expand it" was abandoned, not the original homeless shelter.
