Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for young men from their late teens to mid-30s to develop schizophrenia. Thankfully, it rarely results in symptoms of violent actions. However, most of the mass shootings in recent years have been by young men who developed serious schizophrenia.

I thought once you're over age 25, you're over the hump for getting schizophrenia. It looks like in this case the guy only got 10 years in prison...not bad...

Guns are only a problem when you don't have ammo. Then they become a blunt object, even then they will kill more often as a blunt object than a so called "Assault Rifle."
By this morons "logic" we should outlaw 2x FL National Finalist and be done with it.
An article I read about the case states that his lawyer was trying to plead not guilty by reason of insanity so he must have some sort of psychiatric troubles. Also, he only received ten years which seems sort of short for murder so the judge probably took his mental state into account. A sad case all around.

You are correct. When white men kill they usually have some crazy reason to do it. When black men kill it's over the type of shoes you are wearing or the street you live on.
