About to close in another 70+ mile week - 12 mile long run at 7:30 pace.
I suffered a soleus injury after probably pushing a little too hard last week...some of my easy runs dropping into that 7:10 zone and only managed 47 miles because of it.
Going to do my first long interval session tomorrow if we don't get completely rained out. I didn't do that 8K race a few weeks back, but I did find another 8K to tempo through on Sunday.
So here's the question...should I do the long interval session tomorrow and then do the 8K the next day. Or, should I do a Daniels 800 meter runner workout tomorrow instead and do the 8K too?
Advice is appreciated on what I should do for the remainder of the week.
