ALICE MF SCHMIDT!
yes, this one is warranted.
Wow, more proof Webb is done.
Alice Schmidt took the lead after the rabbit dropped out and held her position all the way to the tape! Huge p.r. and A standard!

Agreed, with the exception of those times he was able to kick at the end and it looked like a rocket going off.
Centro and Webb sucked it up!!!
Alice Schmidt - wow
Anyone have any predictions for the kenyan 10k time? i am thinking 26.40

Oh yeah, I'd hit that.
That was a rust buster 3:57. for Centro.
Not bad.
I'm sure it felt good for Centro finally get a race in.
4 weeks to get that rhythm back.
Fleshman only pacing 1600?
Oh by the way, Russell Brown looked pretty good.
He deserves a mention.
He looked competitive.
your stock is rising, tacos...
what happened to martinez in that 1500? it looked like she was in the mix with 200 to go.
The men's mile race was pathetic. The women's race showed that conditions should have slowed the field down that much. The men in tonight's race are our B milers, hence why they can't achieve the A standard.
I was thinking today that RB deserved to be in the Bowerman Mile...
Looks to be the case.
I think that was Centrowitz's outdoor mile PR...
I was most impressed by McNamara. 2:56 looked like he was jogging.

Except that Russell Brown already has the A standard and Centrowitz has that medal thingy.
And that other guy got that American Record over an Olympiad ago.
Alan Webb postrace:

Webb said he made a few mistakes in the race (didn't go out hard enough). He is optimistic about the future as his training is going well and his wife is 37 weeks pregnant so he is entering a new phase of his life.
Alice Schmidt:
She was really happy to win. The 800/1500 double is on the table at the Trials. Very enthusiastic winner and excited about the future as she says the 1500 helps her 800:

Alysia Montano:
The rabbit was going to go out in 58 and Schmidt told her to go 55. This was an impressive opener but Montano did not seem surprised.

if you can't see the videos they should process in a few minutes.
Why are the announcers complaining about the weather? 65 degrees with light rain and zero wind sounds like perfect weather for a 10k. Do they think that 75 and sunny would be better?
