It probably wouldn't be that bad. Do you remember the thread from last year with somebody posing as Alan Webb? Everybody in the thread bought into it and was very supportive. Everybody asked "nice" questions and said they were hoping he makes a great comeback.
Of course, eventually it was revealed to be a fake.
