Why do women need makeup? Are they not pretty without it? I am amazed all the makeup women put on their face.

Wow, some people sure do get worked up about makeup.

Thankfully my soul is in good shape and I'm told I have a sparkling personality.

In my experience, a nice smile and a healthy lifestyle are all one needs to "glow". My life doesn't require concealers.

All women should wear makeup. Seriously. Heels should be required too.

I never wear make up.

Ever since I was little my dad would tell me girls didn't need to wear make up to be pretty and that he told my mom not to wear make up (but she still did). I've grown up believing him, and never wear make up.

I think it's a scam to get women more insecure and vain so that they will continue to spend money on completely unnecessary things.

Running and eating healthy brings true natural beauty (and saves more money in your bank account!).

The truth is, I think women look much more attractive with makeup and nice clothes and heels. Doesn't matter how pretty she is, she is prettier with the makeup. Just my opinion, others may feel differently.

Someone who spends a hour caking on make-up is either ugly or insecure.

I prefer women who look good without make-up.

Well ... With makeup and other stuff women use (like corsets that pulls their belly in, special bras to make their breasts look nicer) they can trick the men into thinking that they look better than they really do. It's sad for they guy though that later finds out his new girlfriend is really flat chested, fat and has a lot of brown spots and pimples in the face. It is false marketing !

I have a lot of makeup, but I rarely wear any of it....I think I'm just attracted to the variety of colors and think of putting makeup on my face as an artist would put color on canvas. I have an eye color that looks different with different colors on, so it's fun to try.

But other than a little mascara to make me look more awake (even if I've gotten tons of sleep), most of my makeup rarely gets used. Even in my 20s when I did wear a bit more, people would ask me why I didn't wear any makeup - either I always had a light touch or else the makeup disappeared within an hour of putting it on!

Nothing beats some lipstick and heels. Sorry, but this is truth.

True. I'm a man and I never leave the house without my large flat screen TVs

Some women like wearing makeup and some men like it on them, some women don't like wearing makeup and some men like that. I assume the same goes for lesbians, but don't know enough to make a definitive statement. Seems like a good setup.

I'm a female and this is what I wear daily:

1. concealer to cover up any zits. if I have no zits, I wear none.

2. one smudge of brown eye shadow, and sometimes I forget this.

advantages:

1. it takes me 35 seconds to get ready to go anywhere

2. travel lightly

3. does not run off my face when I sweat

4. my boyfriend enjoys waking up next to someone who looks the same as she does while running, grocery shopping, going out to dinner, hanging out..

5. I look better than 99% of the skanks who pile on the makeup

disadvantages:

I have the confidence (mostly through running) to not give a crap if my looks aren't up to anyone elses standards. I think I am pretty. Sure thing that I look tired some days, I look awful when I'm hungover, sometimes I have zits that no amount of concealer can fully conceal, but I don't mind. It's life, I'm not gonna try to cover it up to look perfect.

I want a girl who cares about her appearance. Prettiest girls are the happiest girls.

I care about my appearance, I just happen to think I look a million times better without 2 layers of makeup and black rings around my eyes. I am incredibly happy as well. I have a great job, I can run, I like where I live, have a great significant other, good family. Makeup has nothing to do with any of those things.
