Was doing reps in the park once and this 18 year old (ok 17) stopped me and started to chat me up. The one time I had agreed to meet my wife at the park - typical! ex wife now as well

It's mainly just the typical "Run Forrest" stuff. I used to run with a big group of guys in the summer and one of them would always yell, "you're fat!", at the car no matter what the comment. I had a friend get hit in the chest with an unopened Coors Light can one night. Talk about a silver bullet...

After finishing a tempo run the other day on a measured gravel path, I started to head back home, and saw a group of high school kids grouped near the entrance to the trail back to my house. There were 4-5 boys and 3-4 girls. It was absurdly hot; I had barely made it through the tempo run, even at a reduced pace. It was still another 3 miles plus back to my house, so I took a shot in the dark and asked the kids if any of them had any water. They all shook their heads or said they didn't have any, but one girl put her hands on her hips and said, "I don't have any water, but I've got something else wet for you!"
I said, "I get that somewhere else, but thanks for the offer!" and ran home thirsty, with cotton mouth, and an increased understanding of how singers like Katy Perry can be commercially successful.
Once when I had just finished a shirtless run in 90 degree temp I was walking up the stairs to the locker room at the YMCA when a lady with a couple of her friends came down. She saw me dripping sweat and said, "You look hot!". I said, "Thank you" and her friends burst out laughing.
