Do any of you dickheads know why Track and Field doesnt get more attention? It's because even the f***ing fans, the assbags on this board, can't pull their collective heads outta their asses to appreciate a mother f***ing good run!!! Cuffe was outstanding. It is the fastest a 'Two Mile' race has been run. But, nooooo!!! You second rate hacks have to find something, ANYTHING, to take away from a great achievement and figure out how to shred it and minimize it. WTF!!! This was a great run by a HS girl. But you bend over backwards to pick it apart and reduce the day to something akin to stepping in a fresh pile of cow shit. Grow the f*** up and become fans!!!!!! Or take your stupid, pathetic, naysaying negativity and shove it in your ass!!!
No wonder we can't get the masses to follow this sport!!!!!!!!!
Shut up. The poster had a point. Cuffe averaged 73-high per 400 for the whole race. Closing in 73 meant that she merely maintained. In my view, however, this is actually more impressive than banging out a 68 on the last lap because it suggests that she distributed her effort very evenly and was probably wiped with 600 to go but maintained anyway. In other words, one of those ideal races everyone imagines running. Nevertheless, you need to up the Haldol or something. I'll allow for the possibility that your tirade was in jest, but in Letsrun-land that's rarely the case as the board is rife with Ritalin-starved zitheads and cross-eyed waterheads.
