There are six billion people in the world. There are tendencies within groups everywhere. The point on sickle cell anemia is well taken, but white people do get the disease too. The absolute and complete absence of any "white" male sprinters at the top levels of the sport IN THIS COUNTRY tells me that there's more than just genetics at work; of the millions upon millions of American white males between 18 and 30, one assumes at least a few are 5 or 6 standard deviations above the norm in sprinting ability. And every single one of them is in another sport. A similar statement could be made about black distance runners who are raised in the USA (without immigrant influences).
And you still haven't explained why these genetic rules don't apply nearly as well to women's sprinters, jumpers and hurdlers.
