Interesting to read how so many are already writing Angela off even though she's one of the few American athletes to win an NCAA title in all three disciplines (XC, indoors, outdoors).
Not too many other American athletes who've done that...

I saw an interview on Flotrack - with a D1 coach I believe - he was asked what he looks for in a recruit.
He gave a good answer - he looks for someone who wins a lot, at whatever level he or she was at. So even if the times didn't match up - he is looking for the fire that gets people to train and race hard enough to win.
So I think that is a good fact for Bizzarri fans.
This place cracks me up.
Someone asks a question. It gets answered. Then it descends into a rabble of suggested romantic liasions, suitabilty of training partners, poking fun at said training partners, talk of ruined careers and overtraining, the make up of the population of ML , where ML gets its water supply from, back to how she is gonna destroy her career if she moves to mammoth but mostly importantly the 'why does anyone care?'
Well done, folks, you've really outdone yourselves this time
So women like Kipyego, Koll, Smith and Barringer had 5k PRs that were significantly faster than Bizzarri's coming out of college, but what about say someone like Huddle, or Fleshman.
On top of that, she is a proven winner, with three NCAA Titles. She clearly didnt train herself into the ground to get those titles AND.....
Her PRs were almost all set at championship events!!! This was not a girl flying out to Stanford or UW to time trial fast times. Had she done that, I bet she would have more impressive PRs. To me, it is impressive that all her best times have come at NCAAs and USAs.
It's the Port/Eug crowd that is slamming her. Pathetic.
Why are people so negative? Rasmussen is a fantastic coach. End of story. He did a great job with Angela and we wish her the best in Mammoth.
If you are close to the Illinois program you know Rasmussen is an idiot. He's a poison to the program and there is a reason the team is proceeding to get worse every year without Bizzarri's talent to act as cover-up.
We shall see what Bizarri is worth over the next month. World Cross Trials and Indoor Nationals are both taking place in February.
She hasn't raced since last June so she most certainly has been gearing up for February.
I got a mammoth for Angie, right here in my shorts.
True. Team has been on decline since Harvey left. Bizzarri was golden goose.
Why does everyone keep pairing Bumbalough with Craig Miller? Craig Miller has done much less than Bumbalough, who is currently training with Teg and Solinsky's team. I would think they probably knew what they were doing when they signed him.
