The first reaction I would have is that you should run. Fast. However, you have not given very many details about the situation. What is going on with this guy living downstairs? How old is she? How old are you? Do you have any interest in getting married soon? If she is older (40+) she may be sick of playing games and she simply wants to make sure you know from the start that she is looking for marriage. It may not be the best tactic but at an older age she has no time to waste and nothing to lose. If you are scared of marriage and she wants to get married very soon then she knows that she should go back online and find the guy who does want to get married sometime soon to a hot mom.

Saying that she wants to get married as soon as possible is a definite weird move right off the bat, but again: Who knows? You have given little context. The man living downstairs, however, is perhaps where you have been most vague. It isnt necessarily uncommon for people to sublet part of their house, especially splitting floors. Maybe that it is a man is a bad thing, but likely it is not. You dont know, but we obviously have no idea.
I have never used an online dating service, but I would not be surprised if it were considered totally normal, SOP in twenty years.

Reminds me of a 'female I only wanted to be friends with' due to an art hobby. Well, she introed me to her son one week, then her daughter the next week. Then when I would see her daughter at hobby-related events and the kid would look at me funny. I then knew what the 'female I only wanted to be friends' with had in mind for me. I didn't run, but I made hints about the kind of women I liked.

there are some very serious problems with this woman if she has lost two kids. think about that. there are either 3 daddies for 3 kids or a mother actually lost custody of 2 kids to a father or she gave them up. either of those three situations means she is fvcked up in some way that you dont want to know about. shes probably great in bed though.
Lol truest words I've ever seen on Letsrun. I met a woman similar to the one the op described. She was hot, nice, had a kid and some fvcked up previous relationships, and told me she loved me after knowing me 2 days. She was a very smart woman, but a nutcase when it came to relationships. But she was a m a z i n g in bed. Best sex I've ever had by a landslide.

I guess the circumstances matter. There is a woman I've known for a while. If we ever go on a date I would know that I want to marry her- on the first date.
