Debate with wife: What's my better performance at age 24 or 44?

Well, the vast majority of us put on weight as we get into our 40s, and you have, so a 5:05 is still a bit impressive for a heavier 44 year old guy, but make no mistake, that 31:48 of your is still far superior. Bust a 4:35 and then we can talk.

When I was 20 I had no idea if she came or not nor did I understand that I really should care about such things.

Actually a 4:53.17 at age 44 will do the trick.
