Dix is the same type of sprinter as Leonard Scot, and all other 'sprinter-looking-like-NFL-players' coming from the US. We had that kind of sprinters in the 90's, and none of them broke 9.8. To do that something else is needed; athleticism. That's also the reason we won't see Nesta carter running 9.7's.

I totally agree with everything he said.
It's not about his time to 40 or 60 right now, it's about getting the mechanic right, and the transition effective.
The point is that he's changed his race, and while being a work in progress ran 9.78 into a headwind in cool conditions!
If he is able to smooth it all out he will PR, and if the conditions are excellent he will go 9.5's.
I really hope he can stay healthy over the next 2 years, and that he continues what he's doing with his race.
