i'm afraid i coudn't ask you to stick to anything, as i haven't seen anything of use that you have ever posted
Gay HAS looked different at the start this year compared with last. He has also looked different late this season compared with early on. He may not shoot out of the cannon like Powell shoots out of the blocks, his strides are noticeably longer coming out of the blocks and it has led to a quicker first 20. So, instead of running by everyone after 50-60m in, he's in the lead by then and pulling away.
nonsense
he runs his 3rd best time, intrinsically his 2nd best after his 9.71 & all of a sudden he has improved his 20m/60m ??
he ran this 9.78 against a load of bums who hadn't broken 9.89 in their career & now he's andre cason ???
i suggest you stop talking drivel & show us some comparative 20m & 60m splits for this run & his 9.71 & if you can show they were quicker in the 9.78, you have grounds for your assertion
if you can't, the assertion is groundless
he split 6.39 in his 9.71 - he didn't look any quicker here & wouda needed to be at 6.35/6.36 to show a significant improvement in the early part of his race
i can assure you, i've seen EVERY 6.40 or better run ( except mo's atlanta runs in '01 ) & that was NO 6.35/6.36 split
