It was definitely a promo, but when it ends, he says "talk to you later, Alberto!" That's why some people thought it was a convo with Salazar. Of course, it was fake, nonetheless.
who are the morons trashing these type of promos? even if these type of videos only get seen by a small population outside of the running circles it is still exposure to their non-typical audience. And for those of us who enjoy track and running as a sport it is very nice to see the athletes having fun and trying to get some advertising going.
With all the fast times lately, ie....Solinsky's 10k and 5k then Lagats 5K AR, he wouldnt be coming back unless USA's Fastest miler was in great shape. Id say given the weather he's going to break 13:10. He's still very young and in his prime and hungry to be on top.

This is a road race.
I bet Webb runs 13:45. I could see him running no faster than 13:30 and hopefully no slower than 13:50.
He wouldn't be putting himself out there like he is unless he felt good and confident about it.

Uhm. It's his FULL TIME JOB to be fit and healthy. Think about that for a second. Running is not his hobby. It is his job and he does nothing else. When he was fit and running fast, he was NOT THAT BIG.
