If the answer is yes, basically the only reason you don't like Lagat running for USA is because of the color of his skin.

I agree with runner_lady19. Americans seem to have this weird fixation with non-whites running longer distances. I ran a road race this weekend and when I went to get some post race refreshments, I was told that those were only for the runners, even though I had my team tee shirt on and the bag that I received for running. It is as if some people can't actually see what is in front of them if the person running is non-white. This is not really surprising, but sad.
