Why do people keep saying Lukas is 1.5 years older than the average sophomore? The average sophomore turns 16 in December or January--half generally turn during the fall and half in the spring. I was one of the very youngest in my year, and I was born in May. He is one year older.
More importantly, he is the youngest winner of all time, so it doesn't really matter.
