10yrs of running, which yielded a free ride to a good university, some international experience, and an audience that will listen (at least initially) to a new sales pitch. Take what you have and make something of it....nice.
What the hell....good start. 2 pages of replies so far, and I looked at the site to see if there were any places in Taipei....

Yeah, isn't he that AFA coach's boy-toy?
I doubt that her husband would approve of that.
Trolled all you guys! Not really retiring.
yes actually you are retiring.
nice try but we noticed the shift in your first name
Whoa in his blog he actually says running was becoming a selfish pursuit and he regretted taking it so far as to suck the life out of him. Very few runners are willing to say this and/or retire at his age with his ability. I respect this guy tremndously he actually is a distance runner with a vision of what he wants out of life in the future outside of running. What a rarity. If I was in his position I would not have the balls the quit.
Isn't this a strange course of action considering he left college early and thus has no degree???? Did he go back to school or does he plan to? This site just does not sound promising enough. I'm glad he has the cahones to step away but what are his long term plans
It looks like a great website--great pictures and design, and useful feedback feature. However I don't care for "groups" or details about subletters. I just want a nice place well located, not make new friends. Also, isn't that a little "nosy" to give so many details about people? Anonymity is good.
That said I will use your site when I travel in the US and overseas. Best to you!

I don't imagine that it's impossible for someone to attend university while earning a living as a professional athlete.
good luck Chris, looks like an interesting idea.
Please don't try and steal my identity. I really am retiring, and I've had the best time of my life running. I will truly miss it and the fans. NOTTTTT!!! peace out bitches!@!!!

That's what you get for not registering your own name. Fool.
Don't worry guys. I'll make a comeback someday.
the real question is - how fast could he run a 5K?? Should he move up? If he has sub 13:06 potential then I think he should consider a move up.
Moving up is the answer to every pro runner's problem.
i think he is swell and dandy, does he date guys

KOMEN?

Chris, what the hell are you doing man? You're still 25. Get back to running and do 5000m. Seriously, this Air BnB is a nice thing and all but - do you realize how bad this economy is right now? We are not supposed to get back out of the recession until 2012 or so. I guarantee your venture capital will be toast by then if you have any.
Get back into it man - if not for anything else just so we can watch that smooth stride. The best stride in the biz!
