it is clearly directed at distance running since it mentions the 8, 15, 5k, 10k, and steeple so stop being a homo, ITS NOT DIRECTED TOWARDS FIELD EVENTS

for most impressive though, it has to be barringers meet record. ridiculous. she wouldn't have been last in the mens steeple final if you look and see.

I have to say Barringer running 3 seconds off of her AR by herself has to be considered at least equal to Claye's jump.

I was impressed with Rupp putting his shoe back on in the middle of the race.

Yea when you loose a shoe in a race and still win, that's very impressive.

Barringer could have done that as well, but That actually happened to Rupp.

It kinda reminds me of lasse Viren falling down in a 10k and then setting the world record, but only slightly.

I enjoyed watching kyle perry pull a upset... it was pretty sweet

Rupp was the most impressive though. he is seriously like a man among boys... although he looks like a boy among men lol.

I think Rupp could have scored 3-10 points in the 1500 as well, which would have won the team title.

interesting to note that all by himself beat all the teams in the country but 10. thats cool

Wheating raced like crap? Sure with an upset stomach, and a calf injury, yet he willed himself to a win over the guy with the top time in the nation this year. Fernandez ran a nice race, but it was not impressive like Wheating's performance. Also, the fact that the country's best collegiate miler, Matt Centrowitz, was hurt and didn't even race, kind of dampens Fernandez' win. He beat guys who have been getting beat regularly by several of the Oregon boys. I say the outstanding race was Wheating's 800.

Just because wheating whined more than the rest shouldn't make it the most impressive performance. He was a HUGE favorite yet only won because of poor decisions by the texas kid and then only barely. Perry in the steeple ran pr's in the semi and then a huge pr in the final. WAY more impressive. Barringer WAY more impressive. Geena Gall wire to wire pr WAY more impressive. No way was wheating that impreissive just because he is such a drama queen. He won, props to him for that but he should have won. That is expected at this level for him now. He also beat a field without the best 800m runner.

ever hear of Jacob Hernandez???? He has a few a couple of titles at 800m and beat Wheating indoors. There might be some that would say that Wheating raced a watered down field as well.

Centrowitz DID race. He was ahead of Fernandez with 300m to go in the prelim. He got beat head to head and did not make the final.

Claye winning the triple jump...and having four Texas A&M guys score in the top 8!

Those four triple jumpers set up the 4 x 4 for A&M and prevented a four-way tie for the national title!

On another subject, maybe Oregon should fly up A&M, Florida & Florida State to Eugene next year for the Pepsi Invite, and bring up A&M's women's team for a dual meet, then maybe we see who really is the best team.
