I'm calling b.s. on Gabe doing all of his readings, music etc... at any consistent level. This is a guy who needed like 8 years to graduate, is not much better than his high school self and was "so good" at music, that the Stanford stadium told him to knock off his drum playing. Not to mention, wasn't he taking handouts?? The underlined doesn't add up with the rest.

I think Gabe was just poking fun at all the stereotypes about him.
Obviously, it was a lighthearted interview...and he was being funny. I think it's funny how ttc (or whoever) is questioning Gabe's intelligence...give me a break. Because someone graduates in 6-7-8 years does not make him/her any less intelligent than someone who graduates in 2-3 years. Education is not a race. I know it's hard to believe for Letsrun, but finishing a book fast doesn't lower your 5k pb.
GJ should give up running and just give interviews.
considering that he ran a 2:30 marathon which is decent, if you are a woman, yeah, its time to hang it up gabe. or get an actual coach and stop thinking you know it all, because clearly, you don't.
