running off of hatred is not very good at all. you tend to not be as relaxed as you need to be, and from my experiences hate allowed for very easy and fast 600's but at 680 or so i fell apart so bad. this is what i would say, run like a tool, a robot till about 620, then get pissed as all hell and crush the fools who took it out off of pure anger and hatred.

1st 200: Confidence

2nd 200: Arrogance

3rd 200: Resentment

4th 200: Rage

I prefer to run off of angst and existential despair.

No no, you don't run on hate until toward the end when you're tired. At that point for me at least you just want to crush everyone around you. Crush their souls. How dare they think they can beat me?

I've experimented with all different sorts of combinations of rage and hatred. If found that the mixture that produces the fastest times is

1st anger

2nd loathing

3rd resentment

4th hatred

Interestingly the best chancing of winning the race is

1st abhorrence

2nd dislike/disgust

3rd anger

4th rage

However, if at any point in the race you are having good feelings toward your competitors, you will fail.
