What is up with the audio on the telecast? Does anyone besides me think they are switching the audio back and forth between maybe the tv broadcast and the internet or maybe a national and local broadcast?
Before we have Toni reavis on there. There were doing great. Deena Kastor. They were doing great.
Now I have to listen to Larry Rawson all by himself. I haven't learned anything of value in five minutes. No one else is speaking and they missed the half-way split. What the hell is going on?

Of course it is! That's kind of my point: maybe it's actually going to happen from time to time as marathoning gets so deep that even guys like Tergat have to be careful to cover all of the moves (or get surprised by people like dos Santos).

I think you meant thank goodness now Rawson is gone.
But they are switching feeds. There is the local feed which has Deena, Toni Reavis, Ed Eyestone but also has up close and personals and non-elite coverage and then there is the "international" feed with Larry. But in reality I think Larry just speaks when the local feed goes to non-elite coverage so you definitely hear him coming in and out and there is no transition at all. They just cut back and forth as best as possible.
