I learned that first place gets a gold medal, second place gets a silver medal, and third place gets a bronze medal.

I learned that a significant amount of Americans are sore losers.

I have also come to learn the true feelings of some Whites because of their fear of black people. Some of the comments I have seen posted on lets run in reference to people of other skin color than white has left me in awe. I thought that we were past those days but I just you live and you learn.

Funny thing is, most of those persons making those comments I am sure are probably some fat, uneducated, living with their mother dudes who are threatened by our mere existence.

Not exactly on topic, but first it was two weeks of the Olympics. Now it's two weeks of political conventions. When am I going to be able to get some sleep?

Oh well, at least I won't have to stay up watching the Yankees in the post-season this year.

I learned the touching story of Ernest Istilkanvich who's parents came over from Buttwangistan. Ever since the day his father's testicles were irradiated by their old TV during the 88 Olympics he wanted to represent this country on the Olympic stage. He tried to make it to the trials in 2004, but his 15 flat hundred meter time had him just missing qualifying by a few seconds. He was heartbroken. He rededicated himself to a new sport, modern quadrathlon, and spent the next four years honing his bowling, skeet shooting, fishing, and dog running skills. Despite his herculean efforts, he finished a disappointing fourth at the US Trials in Macon, GA. When he thought all was lost, it was determined the winner's dog had fleas and was disqualified. Post competition testing revealed the 2nd and 3rd place finishers had illegal levels of moonshine and were also disqualified. Ernest found out he would be the sole competitor because even as the new winner, he did not make the "A" standard so the US could send only one competitor. But Ernest was going to Bejing. In the run-up to the games he battled line burn during fishing and a nasty cuticle tear that nearly derailed his bowling. He had to abstain from bowling for nearly two weeks. Then, just when all was looking up and he was about to travel with his family it turned out his wife didn't have a valid passport because when Ernest asked her to pick one up she went to the liquor store and bought a bottle of scotch. Fortunately his cousin, who was his wife's twin sister, had a valid passport to lend her to travel. While Ernest is excited about competing on the world stage, he does remain concerned someone might eat his dog.

1)No HUMAN-being is inferior by nature , not even you.

2)There are a variety of reasons why the Caribbean population live in economically less fortunate conditions , race/ethnic-descent/african blood have nothing to do with these reasons.

3)I wouldn't want to live in LA at all actually...and there's nothing wrong with Zimababwe either , just because there's political instability doesn't give you the right to condemn an entire nation.

4)Yes African children are learning.There are more primary/high schools and more universities and most importantly more students attending these facilities than ever before , tough pill to swallow isn't it?

5)I'm not upste at you at all.America wasn't created by "the white man" it's simply the sum of it's parts.And those parts include Amerindians (native americans) , Caucasians (European settlers/WASPS) , and last but certainly not least AFRO's (African-americans) a great African people that has endured much over the last 300 years.

7)I already know what the AFRICAN people have built : Churches carved from the rocks in Lalibela , The Fortress of Great Zimbabwe , The Pyramds of Nubia I could go on and on.

8)The reason the Olympic games won't be in Africa (or the Carribean) is simply because of financial reasons and a lack of political stability.Not because of the African blood that runs through the veins of our people (and connects ALL African people to each other).You also won't be seeing Olympics in Moldova , Colombia , North Korea , Pakistan etc etc.Your point is non-existant.
