I've only paid my own way for one of the 8 times i've ventured across the pacific and back. Whew! Ok, I feel better now. Seems like what you really want to do is head to Europe. Ride the trains and see as many countries as you possibly can. Sounds like an interesting trip, and since I've not yet been, I can't offer advice on that, so I'll just read what others say. Have a great trip brother.
