"At this point"?? Well, um, they won't be racing now. It'll be in around 7 months, if they both show up to the start. KG is not, by far, definitively better than DK. Two races don't trump 5+ recent years of dominance at will. Kastor could surge the shorts right off of Goucher (how's that for a mental image?). Referencing Osaka, where weather was a major equalizer, with respect to the trials is as relevant as referencing the 2007 xc nationals. Don't forget that Kastor won by over half a minute at 2007 track nationals.

i agree completely - the world champs were a very unusual event - and I am not sure deena was even bringing her A game -she is the ar holder in the 10k and she is running closer to her prs in the 5k, 3k... makes sense she could be close to her 10k prremember us cross - everyone thought shalane was hot stuff - that is until deena embarrassed her - didn't she win by over a minuteyeah, look for the same thing at 10k trials
