Currently, I take:
Vit A/D - 2 per day (5000IU, 400IU each). Helps eyes, calcium absorption.
Vit B Complex - 2 per day (water soluble). Helps with stress and tension.
Vit B12 - 5 per week (500mcg). Taken with iron supplement to increase iron absorption.
Vit C Complex - 2 per day (water soluble). Helps reduce bruising and EIA.
Calcium-Magnesium-Zinc - 3 per day (1000mg, 400mg, 25mg total). Sleep better, keep bones strong.
Chromium - 1 per day (200mcg). Helps minimize sweet cravings.
Vit D3 - 2 per day (1000 each). Helps with inflammation, and calcium absorption.
Vit E - 2 per day (400IU each). Helps with EIA.
Fish Oil - 12 caps per day. Helps with inflammation.
Iron - 5 per week. Corrected tired feeling during workouts, especially in the summer.
Magnesium - 1 per day (250mg). Sleep better.
Multi-Vit - 1 per day. For other trace minerals, mostly.
Selenium - 2 per day (200mcg each). Helps with EIA.
Zinc - 1 50mg tablet per day. Helps most with recovery after hard/intense efforts.
Whey powder - in a shake, mostly during the summer months. Aids recovery, especially when weight training.
I no longer take:
Fresh Ground Flax Seed - interfered with thyroid function (thiocyanates).
Garlic - Seemed to help with EIA during winter months. Got tired of the smell.
Liver tablets - ditto. Just eat chicken liver now, mixed with mushrooms, onions. Yum!
Potassium - never seemed to do anything for me.
Yeast powder - worked well for me, just got tired of the taste.
