Do we really need a moon?

The moon doesn't bother me - in fact, I would like more moons. (But not in my house...)

Since I would weigh less and kind of float with each stride, I could cover more ground even if my turnover is not very high. If I carried double the oxygen, that could improve my performance and weigh me down just enough to hit the ground faster each step. Moon record here I come!
