Comments about your lack of hair are hurtful only if you're a loser of a man. I've lost my hair, started losing it while still in high school, and I couldn't care less.

I was a little surprised that when talking about runners who had a chance to medal at Worlds Flanagan was not mentioned. She has run some blazing solo times, and raced a world record holder to the tape in her first race indoors. The women's 5k is insanely deep right now, but I think she should at least be in conversation when talking about athletes with a chance to medal at the WC.

Did Webb say Shit? That is almost as cool as Mottram.

Did you listen to the whole interview? He's been hanging out with some US guys and mainly traveling by himself. He runs with HS kids and eats with their Swedish families. Webb has hardly been hanging out with any kind of pro runners.

If these other pro runners were using anything, they're going to be a pro at hiding it too. They're not going to be knocking on his hotel room asking if he has any unused syringes.

I listened to your Podcast while running in Grand Lake. Great to hear a full, in-depth interview instead of just sound-bites. I did the track scene in Europe in the early 80s as a pacemaker, and I'm sure Alan's hotels are nicer than our hostels! He's right, it can be a lonely trip, and I was with other college kids.
