4:35 1600m for a 8th grader

    wait did I miss the memo or something? I thought dathan did burn out... what's the last race he finished?... or no wait is he changing events or something because Webb moved all the way to the ten thousand to demoralise the prick... what happened to the kid that thought he could take Webb in high school... 4:35 is pretty good for 8th grade... but inevitably at this point the physical changes that happen from 8th to 11th grade might be a lot more important to this kid's success or failure to improve his time.

    Peter Elliott ('88 Oly Silver medallist) clocked 1:52 for 800m at age 15. He managed not to burn out.

    Infact, yes, I do believe you missed "something." The conversation is concerning high school, not professional. Also, if you consider a 13:16, 27:35, 1:01:25, and 2:14:01 "burning out" then you have really missed something, Gator. He did "take" Webb in high pretty handedly, exception being the mile. "DemoraliZe the prick" you say? Try not to be too ignorant... it diminishes the morale of the message board.

    Tolli is a freshman at colgate this year. He could be good in a couple years. mostly unimpressive results this year though. Dont think he brok 4:00 in the 1500. but heard he was hurt all of XC season and some of the winter.
