How many non-whites were on your HS Top 7 XC team?

Six, if you count hispanics as non-white. I was the only white guy.

0 in HS

3 in College (2 Puerto Ricans and 1 kid from Chile)

What's the point of your post? Why does it bother you?

How are you defining white? Most Puerto Ricans claims indigenous and African heritage. In the US, that usually means they're not white. Not saying I agree with that "one drop" rule, but that's how it works. Plus, if you put genetics aside and go on looks, those dark-haired, brown-skinned people you see all over the island or straight black (e.g. in Loiza) are certainly not white. Sure there are 'white' people in Puerto Rico, but 80%...not close.

Four. But my HS was 70% non-white back in the 70's here in L.A. Four Latino guys, three White guys.
