Coulda ran faster with more miles.
Ran more miles, got hurt.
Still hurt.
Funny, that's my story.
Add me to that one.

did you know or run against Johh and Paul Craig out of Toronto and U.of Texas?
I’m sure you heard this story before. I was born a poor black child. Moved to St Louis, got a job in the gas station. I became somebody when my name appeared in the phonebook. Invent the Optigrab. Join the carnival. Discover my special purpose. Become rich. Optigrab makes everyone cross-eyed. Class-action lawsuit bankrupts me. Become poor again. Thank God my family invested all the money I sent them, moved home and lived happily ever after.
I saw one of those guys many times in the early 80s. I can't remember if it was John or Paul. Saw him at races, and at TOC meets where he was timing. Really nice, approachable guy. The other one had disappeared by that time. I think he had some illness or something???
Today I raced a 1500m, equal to my 1978 time! :( Everything goes in circles, eh? :) I'm back in Grade 10, hahahaha.....
start, finish, puke, repeat.
