Japanese shoes

For what it's worth to any of you, that website does work; and quickly. I placed my order on Wednesday night and they came today. I have a new pair of Asics Sortie-Magics. The shoes themselves cost $85. I can't figure out what the shipping cost me yet, the invoice is all in Japanese. I'm hoping that I don't learn it would have been cheaper to got here myself and get them. But if you want Japanese Asics shoes quickly and can translate the web pages, that's your place.

interesting. Any tips for those of us who want to order, specifically learning to understand Japanese?

is the hyperspeed a japenese style show? I was thinking of picking upa pair.

let's hope you bought a few pair while at the booth in japan! can't you squeeze into the 10's? falcon used to get box after box of spikes and clothes from asics that i had never seen. he had this one pair called "gona" and they were unbelievable. i've never seen anything like them. they had an all plastic bottom.

Tips? Well, if you go the link on this thread you'll see a pair of shoes and above the picture of the shoes are lots of rfed or blue rectangular boxes with Japanese writing in them. If you click on any of those boxes you'll be taken to a page with images of various products, many of them shoes. If you click on the picture of the prouct, you'll be taken to a page which begins the ordering process. You'll see a yellowish rectangular box with shoe sizes displayed. Luckily, the sizes are in western numbers though the actual sizing is Japanese. If there's an "x" next to the size it's unavailable. A little empty circle means the size is available. Click on your size and that's about as far as I can talk you through, though the process is just like ordering from a US internet house. You can sort of infer what you need to click on and fill in and if you do it wrong when you submit your order you'll get an error message, though you won't be able to read it.

So how's the fit? ...did you use your normal sizing - they run wide, or what? thanx

I actually have all three of those. The CS is the shoe I was wearing for daily training that I was talking about in the post you were refering to. I was using the LT for tempos and the RC for track workouts and intervals.

I'm normaly a 9. These are 8 1/2. I'd say Hunt's comemnts are pretty accurate. The front is a little wider than in US shoes. If you're ordering, I'd advise going with the lower end of your size range.

How do the Kantana's fit relative to the old Streak Spectrum Plus? Are they the same kind of shoe? They seem to be from the pictures, but there is no store near here where I can go try one on.

Sorry, should have clarified, I wear size 8.5. I'm mostly interested in whether the Kantana's are built on a similar last. And feel the same.
