99% of what is written about Jesus in the Bible (and should be the foundation of Christianity) is to do good by others. The Halls actually seem like pretty good Christians.
2) Paul exhorts Christians to be sober-minded.
Paul was a false prophet. Jesus warned of wolves in sheep's clothing, then sent one. The disciples failed their very first test in believing Saul's conversion story from the road to Tarsus.

Didn't he run like 14-low on the road to Tarsus though? Not much by today's standards, but it was probably pretty hot, and he didn't have super shoes.
Someone gave me some mushrooms at a Dead concert when I was in college. I totally lost my mind. Wasn't a good experience for me. I literally thought I was going to die at any second, and that I could read other people's minds, and a lot of those thoughts were demonic. Of course, I had undiagnosed, untreated ADHD/Autism, and so it is no wonder that it blew my mind. I don't recommend 'shrooms/psychedelics unless you are in a completely safe, familiar environment with a couple of close, completely straight friends that you trust.
Even just writing about it gave me a minor flashback and raised my heart rate.
