For those who ran in high school or college, were you able to keep improving into your 30s? And for those who started running later in life, what age did you begin, and when did you first notice performance decline?
I only started running recently and I’m curious to hear how different backgrounds and experiences affect how aging shows up in the sport.
I am 29 and last year i set pbs in the 1500 (3'48'92) and 3000 (8'11'73). I started running seriously at 20.
I am not as fast as i used to be. Running a 200 under 26 its almost imposible. However I am much much better developed aerobically.
I think I still have a couple of pbs in my legs
