Boys just got posted. Girls won't get posted until tonight.
Eagle - Idaho should be moved up to the sweepstakes, they are actually quite good this year and will most likely be top 10 at NXR Northwest. Dos Pueblos and Oak Park could be moved down from sweepstakes into the rated.
For individuals, if there are any spots left for individual runners in NorCAL and San Diego, - I think they performed well this weekend - Dean Odom, Nathan Wilber, Gunner Silva, Cooper Castleberry, Peter Kendall, Cooper Barr
Based on which CA teams are in the boys Sweepstakes race, Foothill League is the strongest league in the SS with 4 entries (Hart, Saugus, West Ranch, Valencia.)
Combs coach is all over the place. No real plan. Took the team up to Big Bear and made them run 15 miles on concrete. Then scheduled a hard race just two weeks before Woodbridge. That’s not enough time to bounce back. Combs’ legs are gonna feel heavy and dead at Woodbridge. Should have run Cool Breeze.

It sounds like someone's parent is really upset. Just to clarify, many teams do long runs on concrete or asphalt. Some teams even have races the same week at Woodbridge, just a few days in advance. It will be ok and your boy will do just fine.

That's not true. Two years ago Elizabeth Leachman burned herself out in the mud at NXN and then won Foot Locker by 14 seconds the next week. Runners can bounce back faster than you think.

Eagle is good where they are at.
If they are a borderline sweepstakes team, they should compete for the win in the rated race. They have had some struggles with illness and injuries and are still missing a boy that ran a 16:23 5k as a sophomore last year. They would be in the sweepstakes had they not had such a rough spring.
It'll be here before you know it. Im so exciting. This is probably the only hs race that I go to all year long to actually work at, and get hyped up about even though im not competing in it. Mount sac is another great opportunity for me, but it doesn't get me psyched up or krunk as much.
