They were almost all under 3:30, every one of them damn well near it. No stragglers.
Odds are 99% one of them rises to eclipse jakob. Or more than one

I'm going to have to retire my line. Sad days, sad days
Last place was 3:32.5. That is some impressive depth
Farken and Pihlström both national records. in 3:30:80 and 3:30:87

Can't say I'm shedding any tears.
They had almost perfect conditions for the 1500m. Almost no wind, 24 degrees.

Insane tbh, 16 guys with 3 seconds in a fast 1500m, the depth in the event in incredible currently.
I thought the commentary was interesting as they were dead on the lights and Hutchings was saying how they went out slow. They ran exactly as they wanted for the sub 3:30 and the 1st 2 got it.
Can someone post a link to results. Thanks!
At the bell Farken was in front and Hoare near the back of the pack, but with Farken's slow death on the home straight and Hoare's strong close, they ended up 330.8 and 331.15. NR for Farken and strong performance for both!
3.34 is slow in 2025.
The season is just starting av everyone (16 people) is 3.32.55 or faster.
An now runners do not need Jakob to go sub 30.
So fun to be a fan.

I'm glad the armchair analysts came out with this tongue in cheek. Everyone's leveled up....glad someone did it
Results:
No one sub-3:30 without Jakob or Tim streak is still alive and is a couple of seasons longer I believe

True. Right now, Jakob and Tim are the two greatest 1500m runners.
I know this is a large stadium (70k?) but it appears 20% full. Seems unusual for Europe.
