NIKE AIR SPAN TRIAX!
Aisics 2110 is good, too.

my personal favorites are the Nike Zoom Elite and the Brooks Adrenaline. I think the Zoom Elite is magic all around. The Zoom Air feel great.
Adidas Supernova (now called the Supernova Classic). A nice, neutral shoe that lasts forever, but still light enough to run fast in. Only shoe I've bought since '99.
Asics Freaks
God that was easy.
The Nike Air Saturn kicked major ass.
The old DS Trainer. (2002)
Mizuno Wave Maverick (2004 i think)
late 70s Nike Elite - later the Elite Classic; Eagle; how 'bout this one: Etonic Alpha I (first w/ the plate, super flexible, light, etc.)
I actually saw them while in London last year. There were probably some small differences in them compared to the orginal. I din't feel like spending $100 U.S. on them.
Adidas Equipment Ride II...great shoe, great cushioning, great feel. However, a close second (for me) are the Adidas Boston's (original) or whatever they call them now. Haven't been able to run in awhile, but those are/were my favorites
For me, the rereleased version of the Asics/Onitsuka Ultimate 81. Get the kind with black outsoles or the outsole wears out way too quickly. I'm on my 10th or so pair now, and every time I try to get into a different shoe (so far tried Tiger Paw, Hyperspeed, T3, Marathoner, Streak XC, Fastwitch Speed 1 and 2) nothing feels as good.
Nike Pegasus back in 2000 2001
Mizuno Wave Riders. They are light, fit like a glove, and feel great right out of the box.
I liked the Kennedy flats when they first came out.
Has anyone forked up $250 big ones for the Adidas 1 1.1 (intelligent cushioned, ya-right)training shoe? If so, are they worth it!?
All Nikes:
~ Spiradon Golds
~ Air Edge (a tad heavy though)
~ Zoom Ultra distance spikes
~ Zoom D distance spikes
~ Terra TC
I recently purchased the Reebok Premier Ultra III, and loved them for road work, I thought. Then my Achilles quickly flamed out and I went back to Supernova Cushions. Most of my training is on the grass and the supernova cushions work very well on all faster runs. I now use the Reebok's for yard work (riding mower only-I don't even walk in the dam things anymore) and the Achilles feels better, which is back to 90% +/-.
Asics Gel Lyte DS
Also, I have to give a shot out to my first training shoe ever...the Saucony Grid Procyon with the PU midsole.
New Balance 320's. RIP ol' pals.
Chucks in every color but white.
