As much as these threads give me a chuckle, Mr. Teasle should really stop posting so much on this site... there's really nothing of value to his posts, just keeps getting angry and giving the trolls exactly what they want

No, it's the opposite. The trolls give him what he wants. At the end, I still don't know: How is carrying the boats?

The 'trolls' are losers. I chuckle when I read their posts. They represent the scum of the earth. Deep down, they know they're worthless.
I think it sets a bad example of decorum for a teacher to use profanity. Professors get more leeway.
That said, when students cuss in my classroom, I address it with a look of disapproval. The students usually apologize, knowing it is inappropriate for a classroom. Then, I explain to them the difference between letting those words fly in basic conversation and aiming them at another in anger. They appreciate the distinction, and I almost never hear it thrown at another student, even though they let them slip frequently.
I teach HS kids, so their brains are ready for the nuance I explained, whereas, MS and younger kids are not. sadly, a lot of adults do not understand the nuance, and think the word itself is bad, but speak just as badly about another person as the ones who use cuss words. For example, calling another human "trash" is no better than calling them "sh1t".
