What's with all the downplaying and poor comparisons? "stealing a bag of groceries" / "stealing a purse" / "moved a chess piece"? And "life in prison" / "death"?

This person stole the Olympics from a clean runner, medals, ARs, cheated herself to several $100,000 p.a. income, which is all a lot worse than stealing a purse. Yet no one here asked for her death; several posters merely won't cheer on that drug cheat in the future.

Plus in all these comparison, you should add that we are talking about a hardened criminal who blames the system for her crime/punishment. "forgiving"? She hasn't asked for forgiveness. No, I don't look forward to seeing that incorrigible cheat back next year.

She is innocent and I am sure she did not intentionally dope. I welcome her back to the sport.

I wish she had not extended her ban by the trial. Negotiations may have allowed her to be eligible for Paris.

Race director here. There's no way we would accept her and most professional races will not either. Too many issues and questions. Not worth it.
