Kipchoge has figured it out. He lives a simple, stoic existence. Eats simple. Lives simple. Serves his fellow runners. Does all the chores on a daily basis. No ego.
You guys see that and think he's fake because you're not capable of being truly selfless. This is far more reflective upon you then him. No hedonistic treadmill for him. No hours of social media. No nonsense. Just a single, all-encompassing goal that has dominated every moment of his life for the last 24 years.
Not a trash athlete to me. A very accomplished athlete. A lousy human being and this is becoming more and more clear as her skills become less impressive.
He races for the glory and money, and not necessarily in that order.

Another idiot chimes in. Eliud is doping. Get that through your thick skull. Running is a very selfish endeavor. Why is he unselfish? I mean I am not concerned about him being selfish. But why is he unselfish? No evidence if that.

Why is he unselfish? Well, from a purely logical perspective, I have more tangible proof that he's unselfish than you do that he's doping. (Not that the two are mutually exclusive by any means- in fact, if doping allowed him to win more, the additional resources could allow him to be even MORE unselfish).
Reid is one of the biggest jerks in professional running. Des is the female version of Reid. The problem with both of these azz clowns is they believe that everyone is motivated by the same things they are. Simply put, Kipchoge is simply a better person than either of them.
Kipchoge is an ambassador for the sport for life. Reid and Des are critics.
....
As corny as a lot of the things he says, I truly believe that he is revealing his true intentions...to inspire, show limitless boundaries etc. Mr. Kipchoge is like a HALLMARK greeting card writer stuck in the greatest marathoner body!!! He means what he says; however, odd or pretentious it may sound to some people. He is being real and being himself.
KUDOS/CONGRATULATIONS Eluid

To appreciate Kipchoge's tweet, it would probably help to have actually inspired someone at some point, which is beyond anything Buchanan has ever done, though not Desi.
This is what I don't understand with the tweet. Does he not like what Kipchoge tweeted or his trying to suggest something else (drugs?) without actually saying it?

i honestly cringe when celebrities intentionally make inspirational quotes as if their status in life was beyond that of an average person, but the reply was even cringer. why not just tweet "good morning" or "yo. this tv show is hilarious!"

I think it’s the latter. He probably believes Kipchoge is on drugs. And he’s probably right! A 2:02 marathon at nearly 40 years old? Give me a break.
I can see rolling your eyes if this were some fitness influencer talking about their 4 hour marathon, but this is the best marathoner in history. I'm pretty sure he's inspired one person at the very least.
