I think there were even plea deals that didn’t require extensive cooperation (not sure about the latter part).
Five Proud Boys — Tarrio included — with substantial prison terms are now set to serve at least twice as long as the upper end of the range offered in their deals.
If you view the penalties as harsh, consider that the defendants had the opportunity to make them much more lenient.
