So you mean to tell me you're so desperate so shape a narrative you've just spent your time writing that lie ? From reception to year 6, from year 7 to year 11 and to sixth form there is no teaching of shaking hands. Shaking hands is not in the national curriculum. I know. I've been through all of it.
Sometimes people shake hands, embrace, hug whatever at the end of a race. Sometimes they don't. It's a bit disingenuous when you feel you have to perform it everything. Other times, and this is the blinding obvious which some somehow think is going to be missed so they can, LIE/FABRICATE, you just want to get straight to preparing for the next round/final.
You don't owe anyone to go through this strained act all the time. This round is done, I've qualified, let me use all the time I have to prepare for the next.
No athlete owes any of you anything in what they do after race. YOU DO NOT CONTROL ANYONE. THEY ARE FREE TO DO WHAT THEY WANT. YOU FOCUS ON WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
