Maybe because she no longer has the world record - but Paula Radcliffe.
Also, not the original question but if I got to use this more than once - (in roughly order of preference)
-Mo Farah
-Hicham EL G
-Usain Bolt
-Michael Johnson
-Wang Junxia
-Eliud Kipchoge
-Josh Cheptegei
-Jakob Ingebritsen
-David Rudisha

Paula Radcliffe because she was so outspoken and people seemed to actually believe her.

Read the instructions idiot.
Kipchoge. Insane people think he’s clean.
The one that would make the most delusional people cry boo hoo, Jim Ryun.
Competed and dominated in an era with no testing, even in competition. Here comes testing in Mexico City and suddenly oops he's slow now. Lots of mental gymnastics about that with a lot of people.
Admittedly curios who Coevett and El Keniano would pick. Would they go after athletes from the other's respective country or would they hope to affirm one of their beloved all-time greats?
Would Banana Bread automatically pick Bekele? It might not end well for him...

The obvious person who hasn't yet been mentioned is Seb Coe. If he's clean, it means that it's possible to run 1:41 and 3:29 clean. That would look really good for the other Brits of the same era (Ovett, Cram etc.) and also for the other 1:40/1:41 guys (leaving Amos aside of course). And if you can run a top class 800m clean, maybe the same is true for other events?
If Coe was shown to be 100% clean, I think it gives some hope to the sport, and also gives him a lot of political capital in going after dopers.
And if he's dirty, especially if he was consistently doping throughout his career, well...from the ashes of the sport we'll try to build a better one.

Geb. If he did I'd keep it to myself and remain devastated.
Learning someone like Geb, Belele, or Tergat testing positive would basically tar their whole country like any eastern block runner. I suppose Faith should be on this list also...

- Assume the public knows you received this power and HAS TO accept what you find out (and you are required to truthfully share it). Basically, these message boards can't be full of posts saying you're lying or "how can we trust the magic actually worked?"
- You would also learn how each instance of PEDs got in athlete X's body (for the cases like Shelby's, Gatlin, Ajee Wilson, etc.), and where they got it from. This could potentially expose a dirty coach / agent as well.
- You can pick an active or retired athlete.
- WA and any other organizations are still free to do whatever they want after learning this information. They will also treat it as fact.
Curious how many people here would use this power to go after something they think was doping vs. try to prove their favorite athlete was clean? Keep in mind, the answer you get might be the opposite of what you were hoping for!

I wouldn't waste a pick on Eastern Bloc or Chinese athletes from the 1980s or 90s that everyone already knows were doping.
I would say Bolt or Michael Johnson. If they were running their times clean it means that humans are really capable of extraordinary performances without special assistance. My 3rd choice would be Hassan.
Dieter Baumann (if this superpower extended to confirming the source of the PEDs he got busted for).

Ryun or Coe.

Had to scroll too far for this answer - would love to know she was clean but hard to take the outlier performances at the time with 100% certainty.
David Rudisha
Andrew Letherby.
He probably gave away too much when he spoke in this this case.
