Colgate has terrible name recognition outside the NE US. My friend went there as a student-athlete, and now when she applies for jobs HR thinks she made the school up. I wish I was kidding, because she put a ton of effort and money into her education ... and yes, I know HR people are dumb. Just sharing an anecdote.
Not to mention the stupid toothpaste jokes.
Indeed. I was Crestfallen to find that I wasn't the first to make them.
Stanford is the obvious answer. If the phone rings and they're on the other end of the line you have to listen.
If it was more about running, UCLA and Tennessee would definitely have my curiosity peaked.
If it was a lot more of an academic priority, then probably any of the Ivy League schools. Which ones of them are good at running these days? Harvard, Princeton, Dartmouth, Cornell, etc?
The following ones I wouldn't kick out of the bed for eating crackers...North Carolina, NC State, Virginia, Furman, Colorado, Arkansas, Alabama, Michigan, Florida State, Florida, etc
