It's pretty cool what the internet does. It allows people to say things that they otherwise wouldn't say to a person if they saw them walking down the street. For the most part. I mean probably 90 percent.

I mean we all know this already. But it's pretty clear why alot of the major track and field athletes within the running community don't really post on this site. And that's because of the bullying and intimidation that they received. I guess that's why Nick Symmonds doesn't post on this site using his real name of Nick Symmonds for his screen name.

I always wondered why no major athlete in track and field would ever post on this site. At least i've never seen one in over 10 years now. Has anyone else? And this site is the biggest track and field forum site in the world.

But it's pretty obvious why they don't post.

And yeah I know i've done some of my own bullying and intimidation things in the past especially with calling out potential users without any direct evidence. But I stopped doing that. And have made efforts to stop bullying or saying things to people online that I otherwise wouldn't say to their face if I saw them walking in front of me. So I have done my part to stop that. Others it seems need to do their part too.

Also on a side note to the posters talking about 27mph and other things. Take the time to read what I wrote. I'm only accurate within the way that I hand time myself. The standard add in is (.85) of a second to any of my hand times. So the .75 in the 10yds. And it's yards. Not meters. Goes to 1.60 estimated FAT for 10 yards. And that's probably 90 percent accurate depending on wind and other things.

So this standard .85 add in to my hand times pretty much applies to any of my sprints. So when I hand timed myself in 6.94 in the 60 meter dash or 7.06 in the 60m, those times go to 7.7 and 7.8 in the 60meter dash FAT. Which is not fast. But yet again it's fast for me. Because like I said i'm still recovering from distance running.

Anyways i'm not trolling. Anyone who knows me knows that I take all of this seriously. And have been doing the same type of posts on here since 2012 or 2013.

My next focus is the vertical. Like I said before i'll be posting about that to see if i'm able to get that a bit higher which based on this last 10yd dash workout, I should be able to easily. And I had no clue that I didn't even need to go that heavy on squats and legs all the time. And that mixing in speed lifts for legs was actually more important than heavy slow lifting.

So overall it seems that based on more experience and the fact that i'm getting stronger naturally well into my 40s, it seems that I probably wouldn't have even ran faster in my early to late 20s even if I had been a sprinter my entire life instead of a distance and 400 runner. It seems like literally i'm peaking out right now at this age. I just threw up 340 for 3 reps on bench press today, well the equivalent, and not going to get into details of why it's a equivalent right now, because it just is. Like it was nothing. That was probably the fastest I've done 340 for 3 reps like that. So everything at the gym right now is just cranking. I also am not even training squats heavy right now or going for PRs for 1 rep maxes and pretty much did the fastest 315 for 5 reps below parallel that i've ever done at this light of a body weight. The other day.

But yet again I could be wrong about this. And maybe my upper genetic limit is a bit higher than I previously thought if I had done the proper sprinting training growing up instead of distance. And maybe I would have peaked out at 35 years old if I had done everything under 60meter dashes combined with the speed and power lifts at the gym. Still debating that right now.

We'll see how I progress with the gym this year. And see if i'm able to get more records at the gym.

But yeah really focusing on the vertical this week. I'll see how that goes.

You claim to take your training seriously, but conveniently dismiss the 'wild errors' post as bullying. It's exactly what you need to hear and exactly what I'd say to your face. It's not bullying, if you actually took it seriously and weren't just trolling, you would implement an accurate timing system.
