I mean, compared to general running population, sub-80 half marathon is great. Once you get out of the competitive running bubble and realize how slow the general population is, you'll have a better idea of what people consider a fast runner. Most people would kill to even run under 20 minutes for 5k or actually win some rinky-dink 5k. Even guys I know that run sub-17 in high school and walked-on at some college program can't run sub-80 in the half marathon. It takes some work even if you are more talented than the average hobby jogger.
