This clearly is not an absolute truth. A person can interpret something as racist and simply be wrong. They can be wrong and racist, or wrong and not racist. The larger question is what qualifies as racist.

Google confirms Argentina is 97% white (Spanish and Italian). The simple conclusion is this is why the team is entirely/almost entirely white 100%. I agree! But this raises the question why is Argentina 97% white?

In Oregon only 2.9% of the population is black. While Oregon was never a slave state, it passed laws early on to prevent black people from settling there. The Ku Klux Klan was big in Oregon in the 1920s.

My point is you need to look beyond the history of slavery as to why Argentina is 97% white.

Poor assumptions. Black immigration to Canada is not simply spillover from the US. There are various communities with different origins in different cities including French speaking people from Africa. For the most part they are middle class and not subject to the same level of racism as in the US.

Canadian racism is mostly directed at the natives who are typically poor and have a number of social issues.
