I will take casino any day of the week. I'm doing WSOP this year and between my events and my wife's we will spend $5,000 to $10,000. But a good run could earn $50,000 to $100,000+. I don't think either are an issue I think hunting is a waste of time and people spend thousands on it. Everything is a problem if it's not your thing.

You are wrong they are both the cost of entertainment. Some people enjoy the thrill of risk and some people enjoy cosplay!

It is not at all it is just looked down on from casinos. I compare it to playing poker and waiting until you have a 75% odds of winning hand such as Pocket Aces, Pocket Kings, Pocket Queens, or Pocket Jacks.

Casinos will give back 40% of your expected loss in comps. If you have a decent drop and play $10-$50 chips or slots for a couple of hours, you will get more than if you gamble for 30 minutes. There has to be happy medium where you play enough to get comps and enjoy the game and where you play endlessly as the games will get you in the end.

Very true... I typically get $1200 in free play, a week comped at Bellagio in a suite, my airfare is paid for as in I get $600 cash for me and $600 for my wife, we also get roughly $800 in resort credit which means are meals are free. If we stay for 8 days the comps repeat themselves. If I went to Disneyland, I am not going to get anything comped and they sure as heck are not going to pay for my trip. If you are not into gambling don't try and look at the negatives of those that are. If you are into camping and that sort of garbage I am not going to try and talk you out of what you like. Like the poster above I am also going to be at the WSOP this year which is a lot of fun. The events start with sometimes 8,000 people and unlike a Disneyland trip I have been in a number of big tournaments in which the Tournament host announces a very exciting phrase and that is "Your-In-The-Money" which means if you paid $1,500 for your tournament entry fee you are getting at least $3,000. As more people are eliminated the prize goes up. I have checked the board before and saw once that I was guaranteed $15,000 just for surviving to the position, I was in.

Since I have kids, I have been to Disney and for myself, it is just average. For the kids, they can't get enough of it and since I have considerable derived demand, it thrills me too.

There are wonderful things in Vegas too, just different. I had a conference the opening week of the final four years ago before there were betting apps. There were thousands of people in the sports book and it was hard to place a window bet. I watched the spectacle and the games on the multitude of TVs and took in the scenery.

I also played golf and one of the casino clubs and had "tee-mate." She knew little about the course, but she had just quit being a stripper and this was better for her family. I tipped her well since she was very cute and nice, but also because she had an eyelid disease. She showed me her gore-tex rubber bands that allowed her to shut her eyes.

Only in Vegas.
