Remember Betsy Saina? Jerry wrecked her too. Both of these women did not seem happy with Jerry and BTC.

She went to the sang/Kipchoge group in kapchorwa not long after her short stopover in Portland. He couldn’t do anything of note with her either.

At the time, Betsy said she was missing home (Kenya). Of course now she's a US citizen, as minds can change. I don't think it had much to do with the training.

Interview with Marielle about leaving. Said that she probably could have communicated better with Jerry and Shalane, but ultimately BTC "is like a train, if you fall off it just keeps going."

Also said she wasn't leaving because of Houlihan, and that she supported Houlihan as a human through this difficult time. Maybe a "I like you but don't trust you" vibe?
