I love how happy she looked when she was running, like her whole being was lit up. And I wasn't aware of the recent history, so it had a measure of suspense for me too. One of the best ruminations on running I've seen.

Lol, had this as an open browser tab for months, finally watched it. Great little film. Not the best ever running documentary, but certainly good. Always nice to see a non-American perspective on the event.

Yeah, took me a few minutes to figure out the subtitles.
Fortunately, even though my Japanese really stinks, I was able to get the gist of those opening minutes. Having a narrator who speaks *very* clearly helps a lot.
