I think we agree that that theory, while possible, isn't likely. I like Giannis a lot, but it is what it (likely) is. He did look thinner during the finals.
The bigger point is simply that these kinds of gains are reported all the time in major sports media w/out anyone batting an eyelash. Meanwhile, T&F athletes whose improvements are minimal by comparison can't breathe w/out being accused of doping.
Someone pointed out that the NFL is a doping free for all. True. They said you can't compare it to an Olympic sport. True again: Olympic sports like T&F are way cleaner, the athletes put up w/ far more scrutiny for comparatively minimal salaries, and we wonder why the sport is in the dumpster next to your neighbor's GNC tote bag.
